Learning new programming languages is somewhat tough

As I was learning Golang, I realized that I spend too much time learning and not much actually doing anything practical with it.

I can create these really nice looking programs and I understand how they work but I do not know what to do with it.

I want to work with video games (obviously) and as such; I would love to know how they implement these languages in games. A bunch of if/else/for becoming people walking in games.

Whenever I try to search for it, all I get is people showing "How to make snake using C++" or "How to make flappy birds using Java" but I can never find anyone doing complex actions such as 'taking input from the user and telling the program to move the camera/player accordingly.

I wish I could find it much easier so that I could practice some.

I suppose I'm not cut for a programming career.

New Minecraft update looking great though. Really interested in creator tools in bedrock.
